Providing ear wax removal in South Oxfordshire
Microsuction
£60 for both ears

Microsuction is a procedure using a microscope and gentle suction device to remove a build up of excess wax.
Irrigation
£50 for both ears
​
Irrigation is a procedure that uses a pressurized stream of warm water to remove wax build up.
About me
Hello!
​
My name is Rachel and I have over 18 years experience as a registered nurse within the NHS. During this time I have worked in district nursing and general practice.
​
I am CQC registered and fully insured for both professional indemnity and public liability.
​
I live in Abingdon with my partner, our dog and cat. I have 2 grown up children. In my free time I enjoy growing veggies at my allotment and spending time with my grandchildren.
​
I started Rachel's Mobile Ear Syringing in early 2024 as I felt there was a lack of help for people in need of wax removal in the area, particularly the housebound elderly and working people who would need to take time off work to attend appointments.

How much does ear wax removal cost?

Services vary in price starting from £50. if I come to you and discover you do not need any treatment you will only be charged a consultation fee of £20.

Do you provide Ear Wax removal for under 18's?
​
Yes! I am insured to treat under 18 year olds providing they are able to sit still for a short amount of time.
​
Do I need to soften my wax before having treatment?
​
Yes, it is recommended to use to wax softener for at least 2-3 days before the appointment.
​
Do you offer your services during the weekends and evenings?
​
Yes, evening and weekend appointments are available.
